Custom designed collar clips!

Y.K., a creative and committed student visiting from Japan, designed and created these incredible collar clips! Y. cut out the copper shapes with a jeweller’s saw, enamelled them with her colors of choice, and arranged them into this gorgeous piece. Wonderful work, Y!

Epic lost wax castings! 2022-23

WOW. What more can you say to these amazing castings?! All of these (except for the heart ring) were hand-carved in wax by students, mounted and invested, and cast with molten sterling silver to create what you see here. The cross (done by one of our German ISP students) was cast from his dad’s gold filling! Phenomenal work, y’all.

Creative Projects 2022-23

The Creative Project combines everything we learn in our first unit of Jewelry/Metalwork 11/12: cutting with a jeweller’s saw, soldering two or more metals together, and sanding/buffing/texturing/finishing metal. Each of these projects is uniquely designed by students, and all are cut entirely by hand. Extra congrats to R.H. for that super tricky guitar – she worked SO dang hard on getting those wires soldered. Awesome work, everyone!

Self-Directed Senior Projects

Some incredible projects from our Spring 2022 Jewelry 11/12 crew! Fidget ring featuring copper enamelled flower with a handmade sterling rivet made by S.V., Sterling silver feathered earcuffs made by K.C. (and worn to their grad ceremony in June!), and a stone set pendant by W.J.. Great job, everyone!
